Cast Out, WNC, etc.

Cast Out is my new band that I hope is going to be something that everyone in the Portland Vancouver area enjoys. We are kind of going in a direction of hardcore that no one else is going to or wants to go to. We wanted a heavier, and yes maybe even generic sounding sound. Everyone in the band loves bands like blood stands still, on a warpath, and maya over eyes. We only make music that we want to listen to so therefore Cast Out became a band. We are in the early stages right now. Which means we are writing songs for all you fuckers to enjoy, Cast Out is not that thrash shit that everyone seems to be into at the moment, Cast Out is going to be heavy and its going to hit you right in the face. So far we got a couple of shows coming up and I am super excited to play them like signs of hope and a benifet show for our friend bailey. I want everyone to show up to the benifet because its for a good cause and his family needs it. Details will be posted later. The only thing that I might be afraid of is that no one else is feeling what we are trying to do and we just get shunned by our scene and all our shows end up being boring and mind numbing. We will just have to see though.

WNC is another band that i am in we are currently up to nothing but in the near future we got some shit for you. We are planning to write more material mostly influenced by power violence bands from the 80's and 90's. Like Infest, Crossed Out, and Siege. WNC has accomplished a lot for being a very young band, we plan on touring, and recording. Brandon ( guitarrist) tells me that we are playing a show with the effort on june 23rd @ moxie. I'm excited to play shows with WNC its the first and most succesfull band i've ever been in. We are also in the process of teaching our new bassist Corey all of our songs. Our old bassist Zach was just not working out everyone just got anoyyed especially Brandon because he never brought anything new to the table bass wise. So hopefully our new bassist Corey will be different. WNC is never going to break up we will play shows once a year if we have to. we are just four dudes that love hardcore, we dont look like it, but our hearts are definitely into it.

Why do so many good bands come out of vancouver and then break up? Its fucking sad I can only imagine how it would be like if we had all these bands going at the same time which mostly consist of the same eight people haha. Shows would be fun in vancouver again. just think:

Cast Out
WNC
Cobra Kai (RIP)
Down For The Count(RIP)
Monster Force(RIP)
Cross Check(RIP)
Deverginate I Excoria

Shit would be so fucking nuts. Imagine a show like that every other friday.

Alright Im done man I wish all those bands were still around though.

OUT.
